Ode to the Muse Portfolio References The Basics Inspired Contact

  • ...to the biggest inspiration in my creative endeavors - the late Dan Fogelberg - who graciously endorsed my very first website in 1998 and helped me set foot upon my path of creative heart. His integrity, his passion for creating art for art's sake, his beautiful spirit and his kindness (and his music and words) will be forever etched in my heart and soul. Dan will eternally be a part of every piece of art I create. Also ... to Jean Fogelberg for being a wonderful, inspiring friend, fellow "font freak", and co-creator of magical things.
  • ... to all the clients who have trusted me with their art, music, services, products and businesses. It's an honor to work with each and every one.
  • ...to my wonderful contract designers who help me with the updates and programming on all the websites when I have a heavy load- Erica Gustafson, Josh Steele and Bradley Beard.
  • ... to my best friend, Laurie, my partner in art and good (and not so good) times. Thanks for being with me every step of my inspired path these past 10 years. Check out our joint artwork - Featherdance Designs
  • ... to my husband, who supports me in all avenues of creative chaos, inspired ventures, and graciously hosts the myriad of diverse artists and friends who come through our doors. And to my two poodle muses, who stay with me in the studio and never complain when I'm late with their dinner!
  • ...to the beautiful "healers - angels" at Sol Reflections , who support me spiritually and holistically. And especially to Bill Bauman and Donna Bauman with the Center for Soulful Living, who have helped me embrace my gifts to the fullest and help others do the same.
  • ... to all the friends and kindred spirits I have met along the road - thank you for your support.

  • 1. Be Impeccable With Your Word
Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.

    2. Don't Take Anything Personally
Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won't be the victim of needless suffering.

    3. Don't Make Assumptions
Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.

    4. Always Do Your Best
Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse and regret. - Don Miguel Ruiz, The Four Agreements
